State of Mind Sport is a charity that harnesses the power of sport to promote POSITIVE mental health among our sportsmen and women, fans and wider communities, and ultimately to prevent suicide.

We have delivered sessions all across the England and Wales

  • Sessions delivered to over 120,000 people since 2011
  • Delivered sessions to 100’s of schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs, match officials, public and private sector organisations
  • Over 100 people have told us they have changed their mind about taking their own life after contact with our charity
  • Multi award winning charity that now supports regular mental fitness groups in sports clubs
  • Developed a FREE e-learning course to monitor and improve your mental fitness see QR Code below

Each participant of the Halton Running Festival will receive:

  • A FREE State of Mind Sport running shirt
  • The feeling of amazing joy whilst helping support people and change lives.

Our fundraising ask is to raise between £40-£120 as part of our 40/120 challenge – the challenge is based on the number of people around the world who take their own life (800,000) where someone takes their own life every 40 seconds and during a rugby game of 80 minutes 120 people will take their own lives. You can raise funds via Just Giving here
